Documents
Documents is for writing and reading notes in Markdown. It shows the .md and .txt files in your Documents folder and its subfolders.
Write
- Select New document to start. Save or Save as to keep it.
- Choose a view: Write (edit Markdown), Split (edit and preview) or Read (preview only).
- Outline shows the headings. Search filters the list of documents, and Find finds text in the open document.
Autosave
Autosave is off by default. Turn it on in Documents if you want your edits saved as you type. If you leave with unsaved edits, Documents asks Save changes?
⚠️
Unsaved edits are lost when your sign-in ends after 12 hours without Home running, for example while your computer sleeps. Save often, or turn on Autosave.
Links
When you select a web link in a document, Home shows the address first. It opens only when you choose Open link or Open in Browser.
