Browser
Browser opens websites in a separate, sandboxed browser on your Mac. Web pages do not get access to your Home.
Browser runs only on Macs with Apple silicon. Linux Homes do not show Browser in 2.0.0.
Use it
- Type a Web address. Use Back, Forward and Refresh.
- Links from Chat, Documents and Assistant open here after you choose Open in Browser.
- In Browser settings, Reset Browser profile starts the Browser profile fresh.
Good to know
- Browser is based on Chromium 155 and fits any window size.
- On a Mac, Browser downloads an image of about 900 MB once after an update. Setup shows the size first, and skips it if the disk is too small. Home still installs.
- Browser has no Chinese, Japanese or Korean fonts yet.
